Our time

It is imperative that we seek to construct meaning in the midst of increasingly hollow institutions. The choices that once reflected the pathways to success have been blocked. Society is no longer obligated to provide for the individual. This disheartening reality is exemplified in the limited prospects for those who have followed the rules but receive no compensation for their obedience. It is in the midst of these troublesome times that there is possibility. The time is now for new visions of society and more holistic definitions of democracy and freedom. The question is are we up to the challenge? Can we break from the shackles of conformity and construct a new course for humanity?
